Srinagar: The Kashmir World Film Festival, presented by Zee TV & Zee Cinema, will bring creators, diverse audiences, and the industry together in Srinagar during the bi-annual storytelling festival running June 19-25, 2018. This collaboration with Zee TV & Zee cinema continues KWFF’s ongoing mission to empower Positive , Creative, Motivational , Humanity based storytellers with the opportunities and tools to bring their stories to life.
The 2018 Festival is set to build on the momentum from last year’s edition, which not only saw record setting attendance numbers in just 2 editions, but also the sizeable no. of entries of Innovative and thought provoking, entertaining films.
“The inaugural Kashmir World film Festival editions premiered to huge crowds with the first-ever, such initiative in the Kashmir Valley, “Following a banner year that saw record submissions in its very first two test initiatives across all of our festival programs. It’s clear, that there is more exciting work being created in more different ways and on more different platforms than ever before, by the participants ” said Festival Director of KWFF Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, for the 3rd and the following editions of the festival. He also said “Our mission is to provide filmmakers with unparalleled opportunities to share their projects with a global audience”.
