Srinagar: Upping the ante at the ruling PDP-BJP alliance for allegedly being confused about its stand on Kathua rape and murder case, former state chief minister Omar Abdullah said two BJP ministers were removed in J&K for attending a pro-rapist rally and an MLA who is reported to have attended the same rally is promoted as a minister.
“2 BJP ministers removed in J&K for attending a pro-rapist rally & a MLA who is reported to have attended the same rally is promoted as a minister. Why are the BJP @MehboobaMufti confused about where they stand on the #Kathua rape?” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to the decision of BJP to induct six MLA, including legislature from Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia, in the state Cabinet.
