Jammu/April,25:Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday condoled the killing of a political activist in a suspected militant attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Taking to micro blogging website, Mehbooba wrote: “Heartfelt condolences to the family of senior Congress leader, G. N. Patel who was killed by militants today in Rajpora. Such cowardly acts achieve nothing but leave one more family devastated”.
Patel was killed while his two guards were injured when suspected militants attacked his vehicle at Rajpora chowk.
Patel, a resident of Dangerpora Shadimarg was formerly associated with the Congress Party.
