Imran Ansari cancelled DDB meet,asks distt admin to take on board legislators

Srinagar/April,21: Minister for Youth Services and Sports Imran Raza Ansari Saturday morning cancelled the district development board meeting at the insistence of MLAs and MLCs belonging to the district.
When contacted Minister for Youth Services and Sports Imran Raza Ansari said ‘ I was told by MLAs and MLCs of the district that they have not been consulted by district administration over the issues to be discussed in the district development board meeting.I subsequently directed District Administration to consult all MLAs and MLCs and report to me about the outcome of the consultations with MLAs and MLCs for fixing up a suitable for the DDB meeting’.
Senior National Conference leader MLA Sonawari Mohammed Akbar Lone said ” we the three opposition MLAs myself ,Nazir Ahmed Khan Gurezi and Usman Majeed conveyed our displeasure to the government on not being consulted over issues to be discussed in the district development board meeting. It is job of Chief Planing Officer of the district to consult legislators of the district on issues to be discussed in the district development board meeting and as such CPO Bandipore is for all reasons responsible for the cancellation of today’s district development board meeting’
