Missing woman recovered,handed over to family: Police

Srinagar/April,17: One missing woman namely Anwar Bibi wife of Ab Rashid Chechi resident of Koreal Gujjar Basti was on Tuesday recovered and handed over to her family.
Police in a statement issued here on Tuesday said a woman missing from her home to this effect missing report was lodged in daily dairy of Police Station D.H.Pora and look out message was flashed to all Police Stations/Police Posts of valley.
After strenuous efforts by the police team the lady was recovered from Srinagar today on 17/04/2018 from the illegal possession of one Liyakat Ahmad Khan S/O Mohammad Aslam Khan R/O Bandipora.
The accused has been arrested, case FIR No. 33/2018 U/S 366 RPC has been registered in P/S D.H.Pora and investigation has been set into motion. During the course of investigation it was found that the lady was kidnapped by the accused.
