JRL asks people to protest after Friday prayers across Kashmir

Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani the Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman and Yasin Malik the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman has appealed people of shades to stage protests after Friday prayers tomorrow against the “genocide of Kashmiris.”
In a statement Thursday , the leadership said that the government forces have been given unbridled powers to kill Kashmiris. “Four young boys killed in forces’ action in Khudwani yesterday is highly deplorable act,” they said.
“We urge all sections of the society, including students, lawyers, traders, doctors, engineers, civil society activists and also the Imams of all the masjids across Kashmir to stage strong protest against the civilian killings in Kashmir after Friday prayers tomorrow,” the JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik, said in the statement.
