Budgam: Hundreds of people under the banner of Anjuman Shari Shian staged a massive protest against Kashmir killings in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The protesters took to roads after congregational prayers at Central Imambara Budgam and denounced the killings. The protesters raised pro-Islam and pro-freedom slogans. Later, Aga Syed Yousuf Almosvi addressed the protesters and paid rich tribute to those killed in Forces action.
Earlier in his address, president Anjuman Shari Shian and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi while denouncing the killings in Shopian and Kangan said that India has crossed all the limits and it has been unleashing a reign of terror across Kashmir Valley. He said the recent Kashmir killings by government forces have exposed the hollow face of Indian democracy.
Aga Syed Hasan welcomed the statements from UN and Iran vis-à-vis Kashmir.
