Srinagar, April, 09:As the reports coming reaching this newsroom about various polling stations stacked and some closed down, the officials confirmed that fourteen Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were ‘damaged or snatched’ by protesters.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Shantamanu is quoted to have said that “fourteen EVMs were snatched/damaged by mobs during by-polls”.
The Sunday witnessed massive clashes with led to death of six persons and injuring dozens other.
The police official confirmed to Kashmir Life that “six people died and 18 were injured” in day long clashes, particularly Central Kashmir. CNS
