Ramban admin conducts market checking

Ramban: On the directions of District Development Commissioner, Ramban Tariq Hussain Ganai, a team of officers conducted market checking at Peerah Ramban and realised Rs 1300 from erring traders.
A joint team headed by Tehsildar Ramban Parmod Kumar, TSO Ramban N A Wani along with police party carried out a surprise checking in the market and seized 15 domestic cylinder and destroyed unhygienic eatables on-the-spot.
During the inspection, Rs 1300 were also realised as fine from defaulters by checking squad. They also destroyed perished fruits and vegetables.
All the owners of dhabas, hotels and shopkeepers were directed to maintain quality of eatables and hygiene environ in their establishment, besides ensuring display of price list. They were also directed not use polythene carry bags and domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purpose and failing which strict action shall be taken against them.
