MLA inaugurates warrior cup-2018 at Doda

Doda: MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar along with Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhawani Rakwal and SSP Mohd Shabir Khatana inaugurated 3rd edition of Cricket Warrior Cup at sports stadium Doda.

The tournament was organized by Doda Warrior Sports Club in collaboration with Department of Public Health Engineering Division Doda and Communication & Capacity development unit J&K.

About 10-15 teams in two age category, under 14 and under 19 from various parts of the district are participating in the tournament. The inaugural match was played between Sky Lark and Shaheen star Doda.

MLA Doda inaugurated the tournament by handing over the Cricket kit to the Doda Warrior Cricket Club headed by Rajeev Rana and Pramod Kumar and interacted with the players of Sky Lark and Shaheen Star who participated in the inaugural cricket match.

MLA extended his well wishes to all the participating teams and urged upon the people to participate actively in such events. He requested district administration to extend every possible help to the organiser of such events and make the students of the district equipped for tournaments at bigger levels.
