Srinagar: One person was killed and six injured in a road mishap at Donadi area of Bhadarwah on Thursday, officials said.
An official said incident occurred in the morning at Donadi when a cab skidded off the road and fell into a gorge. Police said all the injured were later shifted to Thathri hospital, where from the two injured were referred to Doda district hospital for specialized treatment.
Later, officials said that one of the injured identified as Jarnail Singh, 38 from Nagni succumbed to his injuries at the district hospital.
The injured have been identified as Fareed Ahmed and Karan Singh of Nagni, while other injured Bhawan Singh, Alam Din, Syeda Begum and Nasreena Bano are from Parshalla. A case has been registered in the incident, police official said.
