Srinagar: Director Agriculture Kashmir, Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi Monday stressed on the need for taking multi-dimensional initiatives so that the women self-help groups established by the department in different districts are strengthened to achieve set targets and ensure better participation of women in agriculture and allied sectors.
The Director said this during a meeting held to discuss the progress achieved under different centrally sponsored schemes and the expenditure and liability position of various key schemes and projects.
Speaking on the occasion Director Agriculture impressed upon the officers to ensure that the budgetary allocations to their respective districts under different schemes and programs are fully utilized by the end of this last quarter of current fiscal.
