Kupwara: District Development Commissioner, Khalid Jahangir, Monday chaired a meeting of the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) in which sanction was accorded to 833 cases sponsored by different implementing agencies.
The Lead District Manager/Cluster head, Chief Planning Officer, DDM NABARD, heads of financial institutions, officers of different sponsoring and implementing agencies were present in the meeting.
The LDM briefed the meeting about the performance of different financial institutions and the status of sponsored cases by different government departments.
The representatives of sponsoring agencies who are implementing schemes under KVIB, KVIC, DIC, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, PMAY-U,DUDA, Handicraft, Handloom, Sericulture, RDD Convergence, fisheries, Housing also apprised the meeting of their progress.
It was informed in the meeting that about 140 cases are lying pending with the JK bank.
The District Development Commissioner impressed upon all concerned agencies to dispose-off the pending cases in the current month.
