Srinagar/Feb,2: Militants attacked a joint party of Police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Banura area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district late Thursday night.
Reports said that militants opened fire on a joint party of SOG and CRPF at Banura around 10:45 pm. The forces retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire.
There was no report of loss of life on either side.
GNS news agency, quoting SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudary, said the searches were launched to nab the attackers.
