Srinagar: Nowhatta Police recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees from thieves. A special team was formulated by Sub Division Khanyar Police under the close supervision of SDPO Khanyar Raja Zuhaib Tanveer to nab the culprits involved in the theft of jewelry, fabrics and vehicles. During the sustained efforts of the special team two thieves were apprehended from whose possession jewelry, fabrics and one Alto car was recovered. To this effect FIR No 01/2018 under section 379 RPC, FIR No 55/2017 under section 457,380 RPC and FIR No 27/2017 under section 457, 380 RPC stand already registered. Further investigation is on and more recoveries are expected.
