Bandipora | Nov, 06: Police on Friday said that it has arrested two more associates in connection with an ongoing investigation into a prison-linked separatist propaganda module targeting women, raising the total number of arrests in the case to eight.
In a statement issued here on Friday Police said that the arrested individuals have been identified as Irshad Ahmed Bhat, S/O Gh. Mohd Bhat, R/O Chakloo, Baramulla, and Showkat Ahmed Reshi, S/O Gh. Mohd Reshi, R/O Watlab, Sopore. Both have been taken into custody under Case FIR No. 168/2026, registered under Sections 10 and 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) at Police Station Bandipora, as investigations continue to identify further links.
