Srinagar, Nov 5: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness a brief spell of light rain and light snowfall at a few places on Thursday, while weather conditions are expected to remain generally dry over the next four days, according to the Meteorological Department.
As per the latest weather forecast, November 6 to 9 is likely to remain generally dry across Jammu and Kashmir.
However, generally cloudy weather is expected on November 10 and 11, with a spell of light to moderate rain in plains and light to moderate snowfall over higher reaches at scattered to many places from the evening of November 10.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has advised farmers to continue harvesting and other agricultural activities till November 10 and ensure safe storage of harvested crops.
Travellers and transporters have also been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the traffic advisory issued by the concerned authorities.
