Srinagar, Oct 30: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died of cardiac arrest in Srinagar on Friday.
Officials told GNS that ASI/GD Prem Mohan, aged 54 years of 154 Bn CRPF, presently stationed at HMT Zainakote, complained of chest pain and was shifted to Noora Hospital for treatment.
However, doctors declared him brought dead. As per medical opinion, the cause of death has been reported as cardiac arrest, they said.
Meanwhile, inquest proceedings under relevant section have been initiated, they added.(GNS)
