Pulwama : The Office of the Chief Horticulture Officer, Pulwama, is organising a Machinery Mela on 27 October 2026 (Tuesday) at its office premises in Pulwama to facilitate identified and authorized beneficiary growers in procuring farm machinery of their choice from registered dealers under the Farm Mechanization Scheme.

All registered farm machinery dealers have been invited to participate in the event along with the requisite dealership/brand authorization certificates, registration particulars and other relevant documents, ensuring the availability of machinery for the authorized beneficiaries.

During the event, physical verification and embossing/marking of the purchased machinery shall be carried out on the spot under the supervision of the District Level Monitoring and Supervising Committee (DLMSC).

The initiative aims to facilitate a transparent and streamlined procurement process, ensuring convenience to eligible growers and timely completion of the requisite departmental formalities.
