Udhampur :Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ananth Dwivedi Saturday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), JKCIP and other credit-linked schemes.

Among those present were Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh and officers of the departments concerned.

Chief Agriculture Officer Vikas Padha presented an overview of the department’s performance, including the implementation status of schemes, credit flow under HADP, applications received and sanctioned, issuance of Soil Health Cards and the coverage and approvals of JKCIP applications.

The DC directed the departments and banks concerned to intensify awareness and outreach so that every eligible farmer and farming family benefits from these flagship initiatives. Banks were directed to clear all pending loan cases and expedite disbursement, and departments to adopt a proactive, coordinated approach to accelerate processing and sanctioning of pending HADP applications and expedite the disposal and approval of pending JKCIP cases.

The DC said that inter-departmental coordination and collective effort are essential to achieve tangible, sustainable outcomes at the grassroots level, and directed transparent, time-bound implementation of all schemes so that eligible beneficiaries receive benefits without delay.
