Handwara, October 22: In a significant action, Police in Handwara attached the properties of three accused persons in connection with Case FIR No. 198/2023 registered under Sections 307, 302, 436, 120-B and 121-A RPC, Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act, and Sections 7/25 I. A Act and 3/4 of the Explosive Substances Act of Police Station Handwara.
The properties belonging to Gh. Rasool Bhat son of Aziz Bhat resident of Zachaldara, Abdul Samad Mir son of Gh. Mohd. Mir resident of Bawan, Zachaldara, and Shair Ali Khatana son of Sawariya Khatana resident of Butshangi, Zachaldara, were attached during proceedings conducted in the presence of Revenue Officials.
The action underscores J&K Police’s continued efforts to ensure effective legal action in cases involving serious offences, in accordance with the law.
