Srinagar | Oct, 19: On the auspicious occasions of Maha Navami and Dussehra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, and Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma have extended their warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, calling for unity, peace, and the timeless triumph of good over evil.
In their official messages, the state leadership emphasized that both festivals embody deep moral and spiritual values—truth, righteousness, courage, and the ultimate victory over injustice and falsehood.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed hope that these holy occasions would bring peace, prosperity, and happiness across Jammu and Kashmir while further strengthening the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood. He urged citizens to draw inspiration from the spirit of the festivals to reaffirm their commitment to mutual respect, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
Echoing similar sentiments, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary noted that the celebrations symbolize the defeat of righteousness over injustice. He wished every household lasting well-being and prosperity, highlighting the need to nurture brotherhood among all sections of society to ensure lasting peace in the region.
