Anantnag | October, 19: A 30-year-old pediatrician died after the tractor he was riding skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch in the Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
Officials said the accident took place near Sheetipora Herpora. Reports said the victim sustained severe critical injuries in the fall and was immediately rushed by locals to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was later identified as Dr. Nazir Ahmad, a resident of Vail Nagbal, Hapatnar. Police authorities have taken formal cognizance of the accident and started an inquiry.
