Anantnag : Member National Commission for Scheduled Tribes Dr. Asha Lakra chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the DC Office Complex in Anantnag to assess the implementation of welfare schemes and development projects for Scheduled Tribe communities.
Officials said the meeting involved a detailed evaluation of departmental progress, administrative bottlenecks, and measures to improve the delivery of benefits. Dr. Lakra stressed strict adherence to timelines and a result-oriented approach, while Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat briefed the commission on ongoing initiatives and outreach programs aimed at uplifting tribal populations.
