Budgam, Oct 12: Two employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (JKPDCL) were injured after suffering electric shocks in the Khag area of Budgam district on Monday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the injured included a permanent employee and a casual labourer.
He said the duo was initially taken to Block Hospital Khag, from where they were referred to JVC Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar, for advanced treatment. The injured were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad, a resident of Bamrooda, Beerwah and Aadil Ahmad, a resident of Suragh, Khag.
Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken and the exact circumstances leading to it are being verified.—(KNO)
