Anantnag, Oct 12: A woman died on spot while her husband sustained critical injuries after an i20 car hit a motorcycle at Furrah Mir Bazar area of Anantnag district.
Officials told GNS that an i20 car bearing registration number JK03M-4148 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number PB10FV-5999 at Furrah Mir Bazar, resulting in critical injuries to the bike rider and death of his wife on spot.
The deceased has been identified as Fareeda Akhtar, while the injured is her husband Mohd Altaf Bhat, resident of Baihama Qazigund.
The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
