Handwara | Oct, 10: Police on Saturday initiated legal process to attach land measuring over 8 Kanals valued at approximately ₹1 crore belonging to two absconders currently residing in PoK.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Police said that action was initiated under court orders in connection with FIR No. 198/2003 under the UAPA registered at Police Station Handwara. The attached properties include 1 Kanal and 2 Marlas at Kohru belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohammad Abdullah Bhat R/O Kohru, Langate (presently in Muzaffarabad, PoK), and 7 Kanals and 11 Marlas at Udipora belonging to Manzoor Ahmad Lone S/O Gh. Qadir Lone R/O Udipora, Langate (presently in Basnada, PoK).
