Srinagar, Oct 08: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday issued weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir for the next 10 days, predicting light rain and snow at scattered places.
As per GNS, the forecast, on October 8-10, weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with light rain (light snow over higher reaches) at scattered places.
On 9th October, it will be generally dry with brief spell of light rain at few places towards evening.
From 11-13th October, weather will remain generally dry till 13th evening with brief spell of rain towards 13 evening/night.
On 14-15th October, it will be generally cloudy with light rain (light snow over higher reaches)/thunder/gusty winds at many places.
From 16-18th October, weather will remain generally dry, the MeT said.
In its advisory, the MeT department advised farmers to continue harvesting and safe storage of harvested Apple & Paddy.(GNS)
