Reasi: Minister for State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda Saturday dedicated street line to sports stadium ground Reasi here today by providing 52 led lights for the walking track.
On the occasion, the Minister said that with the installation of these lights, a long pending demand of local people has been fulfilled. He said many people have demanded the light along walking tracks for which he assured their installation in time bound manner.
The Minister said that the present government has started a new phase of development in the state especially in neglected and underdeveloped areas. He sought cooperation of the people to expedite the ongoing development works in the area.
The locals sought construction and beautification of parks, construction and up-gradation of lanes and drains, replacement of old electric poles and wires, repair and installation of street lights, safe drinking water, improved sanitation etc.
The Minister was accompanied by XEN PDD Thakur Dass, XEN R&B Hem Raj Langeh, DySP Hqtr, AEs, JEs and other prominent citizens of Reasi.
