Ganderbal, Oct 2: A truck skidded off the road and rolled into a gorge near Rasool Mod on the Zojila axis in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
The truck, bearing registration number JK04J-5692, was being driven by Yawar Ahmad Kullo, son of Abdul Majeed Kullo, a resident of Sumbal Shadipora in Bandipora district.
According to officials, the driver escaped unhurt and no loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident.
The truck, however, sustained damage after rolling down into the gorge.
Further details regarding the circumstances leading to the accident were awaited.
