Weather to Remain Dry in J&K Till Oct 5, Rain Likely From Oct 6: MeT

Srinagar, October 2: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally dry weather from October 2 to 5, while a change in weather conditions is expected from October 6, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.

The MeT forecast said that from October 2 to 5, weather will remain generally dry across Jammu and Kashmir.

From October 6 to 8, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected, with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds at a few places.

From October 9 to 10, light to moderate rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds are likely at many places.

Meanwhile, the MeT bulletin issued on October 2 said the weather during the past 24 hours remained dry across J&K. It added that the maximum temperatures remained above normal in many parts of Kashmir division, while the highest maximum temperature was recorded at 33.2°C in Kathua and 30°C at Qazigund.
