Kupwara | October, 01 : A two-year-old boy died on Thursday after accidentally falling into a water tub at his residence in the Qalamabad area of Handwara, located in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
The child accidentally fell into the tub at home and was immediately rushed to NTPHC Qalamabad, where he received initial medical treatment. As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to a specialized hospital in Srinagar, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Shahnaz Shafat (02), son of Shafat Ahmad Reshi, a resident of Qalamabad. Police have taken cognisance of the tragic incident, and a formal probe is underway, officials said.
