Says “Action Led to Elimination of Terrorists, Handlers”
New Delhi | September, 26: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said ‘Operation Sindoor’ demonstrated India’s resolve to go to any extent to protect its citizens and led to the elimination of terrorists and their handlers based in Pakistan.
Addressing a blood donation camp at the Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment, Singh noted that the operation showcased the “unmatched valour” of the country’s armed forces and sent a global message about India’s determination to safeguard its people.
“Operation Sindoor demonstrated the unmatched valour of our defence forces who sent a global message that India will go to any extent to ensure the safety of its citizens,” Singh said. He emphasized that the operation demonstrated India’s resolve to respond decisively to terrorism and those orchestrating attacks on the nation, adding that those who attempted to target India faced severe consequences.
Drawing a comparison between ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the blood donation drive, Singh remarked that while the military operation represented courage, the donation campaign represented compassion and service. He highlighted that blood remains a critical resource that cannot be artificially manufactured despite medical advancements, urging young people to make voluntary donation a regular habit. The event was attended by top dignitaries, including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth.
