Handwara : Jui-e-AdabKaj Nag, Handwara, under the patronage of Adabi Markaz Kamraz, Jammu and Kashmir, organised a two-day online Naat Mushaira on September 20 and 21, bringing together poets and literary personalities from across the region.
The Mushaira was held in two sessions, with participating poets presenting Naatiya poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The first session was held on September 20 at 7:30 pm and was presided over by Dr Abdul Wahid Raza. The presidential panel included Javed Iqbal Mawari, Advisor of Jui-e-AdabKaj Nag and Vice President of Adabi Markaz Kamraz, Jafar Gulzar and Syed Mumtaz Bukhari.
The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Muhammad ShafiMalla, following which Javed Iqbal Mawari presented a Naat.
The proceedings were conducted by Arshid Mohiuddin, General Secretary of Jui-e-AdabKaj Nag.
Poets who presented their work during the first session included Ashiq Hussain Zahid, Shabnam Katlari, Altaf Zargar, Syed JavedMasroor, Bashir Tahir Lolabi, InayatullahRahi, Dr Yasmeen Mahmal, Javed Ahmad Javed, Abdul Kabir Dilkash, Manzoor Khan Kausar and MashrooNasibabadi.
The second session was held on September 21 at 7:30 pm under the same presidential panel.
Mushtaq Mawari, Syed Muhammad QasimSafavi, Maqbool Masoom, Nasir Masroor, Zakir Hussain Dilnawaz, Mir Mushtaq Qaziabadi, Abdul Rashid Dilshad, Faiq Maqbool, Javed Iqbal Mawari and Jafar Gulzar presented their Naatiya poetry during the session.
At the conclusion, Dr Abdul Wahid Raza also presented his Naatiya poetry and delivered the presidential address.
Syed JavedMasroor, Vice President of Jui-e-AdabKaj Nag, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the participating poets, guests and other participants for their contributions.
The Mushaira was supervised by Maqbool Faiq, President of Jui-e-AdabKaj Nag, while Kausar Manzoor handled the technical arrangements for the online event.
The organisers said the two-day programme concluded with participation marked by literary engagement and devotional expression.
