Awantipora : SSP Awantipora on Monday chaired a comprehensive crime review meeting at the District Police Office, Awantipora, attended by supervisory officers, SHOs, and Incharges of various Police Posts and sections.
The SSP reviewed security measures, follow-up actions, verifications, inquest proceedings, missing person cases, court summons, and the disposal of pending criminal investigations, particularly NDPS, UAPA, and 60/90-day cases. Addressing the meeting he directed investigating officers to ensure qualitative and quantitative disposal of cases within stipulated timelines and adopt a public-centric approach to redress grievances effectively.
