Srinagar | Sep, 19: A Traffic Police Head Constable tragically lost his life on Saturday morning after being hit by a speeding truck in Kulgam district. The incident occurred near the Shampora Bridge in Qazigund when an out-of-control vehicle struck the officer while he was performing his duties along the stretch.
The deceased officer was later identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Kulpora. Medical responders confirmed he succumbed to severe injuries on the spot. Local police authorities have taken formal cognizance of the vehicle collision and launched an official investigation into the crash, officials said.
