Srinagar/Jan,26: Mobile calling and internet services were suspended in Kashmir valley on Friday on the eve of republic day functions as usual . Following the routine, authorities suspended the mobile Internet and calling facilities on the eve of R-day.Meanwhile, forces were deployed in strength across the valley, especially in Srinagar city where the main R-day function was held. This year’s venue for 26 January was Sher-e-Kashmir cricket stadium Sonwar, instead of traditional Bakshi stadium. No vehicle or pedestrian movement is being allowed via Ram Munshi Bagh and TRC routes that lead to the venue.
