DC Udhampur reviews progress of District Plan development works, RDD schemes

Directs for timely completion, adherence to quality standards

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 15: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today convened a review meeting with officers of the line departments to assess the progress of ongoing and new works being executed under the District Capex Budget 2026–27 and RDD schemes taken up in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Jugal Kishore; Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh; Assistant Commissioner Development Om Parkash; all Block Development Officers and other officers.

During the meeting, the DC undertook a detailed review of the sector-wise progress of ongoing and new works, tendering and allotment processes, besides assessing the financial progress achieved under the District Capex Budget and RDD schemes.

The DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the execution of ongoing works and ensure their completion within the stipulated timelines. He called upon the officers and field functionaries to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and commitment to achieve the desired outcomes. He also stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of quality in all developmental works being undertaken under the Rural Development sector across the district.

The DC further directed the officers to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and ensure optimum utilization of resources. He urged them to work with renewed zeal and dedication to achieve the targets set for the current financial year while ensuring transparency, accountability and quality in the implementation.
