Srinagar, Sep 15: The Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecast generally cloudy weather with brief spells of rain, thundershowers and gusty winds at many places across Jammu and Kashmir from September 15 to 17.
According to the MeT Srinagar forecast, weather is expected to remain generally dry from September 18 to 25, with brief spells of rain at isolated places.
The department has advised people to remain cautious as thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are likely at a few places during September 15-17.
Farmers have been advised to ensure safe storage of harvested crops. They may continue harvesting of apples, paddy and undertake other farm operations from September 18 onwards.
