Srinagar, Jammu Record Above-Normal Temperatures
Srinagar | September, 14: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience brief spells of rain and thundershowers at scattered places from September 15 to 17, followed by generally dry weather until September 25, weather officials said. An advisory has been issued for isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.
Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 30.4°C (2.6 degrees above normal), while Jammu settled at 33.5°C. Minimum temperatures stayed mostly near normal across major stations. Farmers have been advised to take precautions while continuing apple and paddy harvesting.
