Srinagar | September, 14: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet against Abdul Majeed Mir for duping a citizen using a forged Airports Authority of India appointment order, officials said.
The accused, who allegedly impersonated high-ranking officials to defraud victims of lakhs of rupees, faces 15 criminal cases across Kashmir and is currently lodged in Central Jail Srinagar. Authorities advised the public to remain vigilant against economic fraudsters and report suspicious activities directly to the Crime Branch.
