Srinagar| September 12: Police on Saturday launched a series of sporting events under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026-27 with a Handball Tournament at Khushal Sports Stadium, Sopore.
Eight teams from across Police District Sopore are participating in the tournament. Following six competitive matches on the opening day, MET Higher Secondary School Sopore and Sub Coaching Centre Handball Club Sopore qualified for the final. Police highlighted that the CAP initiative aims to channel youth energy into constructive activities and strengthen police-public relations.
