Ang : Anantnag Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat chaired a district-level review meeting today at the DC office to monitor the execution of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)-PRAGATI. Officials said the session brought together key administrators, including ADDC Vikas Ahlawat, General Manager DIC, officials from J&K Skill Development Mission, and principals of local ITIs to assess establishment registrations and candidates’ onboarding progress.

Addressing the stakeholders, the DC emphasized inter-departmental synergy to maximize local youth involvement, noting that enhanced technical training significantly elevates employment potential across commercial sectors. “With improved skill set across sectors, the employability and market demand of the eligible youth can be greatly enhanced,” he observed.

Dr. Bhat further directed executing departments to maintain strict monitoring mechanisms to ensure targets are met within fixed schedules, assuring that systematic coordination across institutions will enable maximum youth participation.
