Srinagar, Sept 9: The Meteorological Centre (MeT), Srinagar has forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with only brief spells of rain expected at isolated and scattered places during different periods.
According to the MeT forecast, weather is expected to remain generally dry from September 9 to 12, although a brief spell of rain may occur at isolated places.
From September 13 to 16, the weather department has predicted brief spells of rain and thundershowers at scattered places, mainly during the early morning and afternoon hours.
Thereafter, from September 17 to 20, the weather is again expected to remain generally dry, with only brief spells of rain at isolated locations.
In view of the prevailing weather conditions, the MeT has advised farmers to continue harvesting apple and paddy crops to make the most of the largely dry spell.
