Srinagar : A 13-member media delegation from Kerala is currently engaged in a seven-day press tour of Jammu and Kashmir, organized by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) in Kochi from September 6 to 12, 2026.
On the inaugural day, the delegation visited the PIB office in Srinagar, where they were welcomed by Shri Qazi Salman, the Director of PIB Srinagar. He provided an overview of the media landscape in Kashmir and engaged in discussions with the journalists regarding the operations of PIB in the region. Following this, the delegation explored Gulmarg, a renowned hill station in Baramulla district, appreciating its natural beauty and scenic landscapes. Throughout the week, the delegation will tour various developmental projects and significant sites across Jammu and Kashmir. This press tour is designed to enhance the journalists’ understanding of the ongoing transformation in the region and facilitate interactions with key stakeholders.
