Srinagar: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of Crime Branch J&K on Wednesday filed a comprehensive charge-sheet against five persons for allegedly fabricating and utilizing fake appointment, transfer, and relieving orders within the Education Department. The charge-sheet was presented before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Budgam.
Officials said the fraud came to light when three individuals joined as teachers in Zone Nagam, Budgam, using fake transfer orders bearing forged official signatures and fictitious dispatch numbers. Investigation established that the accused had never been legally appointed to the department. EOW officials confirmed that two facilitators arranged the machinery to print the forged documents and advised the public to remain vigilant against such economic frauds.
