Sopore : A motorcyclist lost his life following a collision with a Maruti Ignis car at Brath Kalan in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said. The deceased was identified as Tajamul Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Sheikhpora Bomai.
Sources said the severely injured motorcyclist was rushed to SDH Sopore by the car driver, where doctors declared him brought dead. The driver subsequently handed himself over to the police and was taken into custody. Police have initiated legal proceedings regarding the accident.
