Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday met separate delegations and a legislator who apprised him of various public and developmental issues concerning their respective areas.
A delegation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at from Reshnagri, Shopian, led by Khurshid Ahmad Mir, called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected issues including upgradation of the Government High School, establishment/upgradation of the Health Sub-Centre, and promotion of the horticulture and industrial sectors in the area.
Dr Rajeev Kumar Bhagat, MLA from Bishnah, also called on LG Sinha and raised issues pertaining to the establishment of a Police Post at Rehal and a Drug Rehabilitation Centre in the Bishnah constituency.
Separately, a delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K UT Council, led by its Chairman Iqram Ali Shafiee, met the Lieutenant Governor and briefed him about the upcoming 3rd Edition of the CII J&K Health Conclave, scheduled to be held in Srinagar on August 29, 2026.
