New Delhi : Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Sunday met the Divyang Men’s Cricket Team of India in New Delhi and lauded the players for their efforts and determination to win honours for the country.
The team recently returned from England after participating in the India-England Men’s Mixed Disability T20I Series 2026.
Shah, in a post on X, said he was glad to meet the team and praised the players for their commitment and determination.
“Their efforts and determination to win honours for the nation inspire the youth of India,” Shah said.
He also wished the members of the team success in their future endeavours, acknowledging their contribution to Indian sport and their inspirational journey.
The meeting comes as the Indian Divyang cricket team continues to gain recognition for promoting inclusive sports and demonstrating that determination and sporting talent can overcome physical challenges.
