Srinagar | Aug, 22: Director Agriculture Kashmir Sartaj Ahmad Shah Saturday visited the Seed Multiplication Farm at Tapper Kreeri and reviewed ongoing agriculture activities and modern interventions at the facility.
The Director inspected various blocks and hi-tech polyhouses and took stock of the technologies being used to improve farm productivity.
Shah expressed satisfaction over the transformation of the farm and appreciated the officers for implementing modern agricultural technologies.
He said the Agriculture Department is working to transform seed multiplication farms across Kashmir into model farms to enhance seed production.
Describing Tapper farm as one of the productive vegetable farms in Jammu and Kashmir, the Director called for environment-friendly cultivation practices and optimum use of natural resources.
Chief Agriculture Officer Baramulla and Seed Production Officer Srinagar accompanied the Director during the visit.
